Paul and Sally Thomas and Roger Brind support the work in Ukraine. Unfortunately none of us has been able to visit Ukraine this year but our contacts have given us a lot of information, some of which is encouraging and some is real matter for prayer. |

Orest Kulenych wrote, ”This year was very blessed for us but at the same time very difficult and busy. The children keep us busy. They are well and they are all a real joy for us. Last year there were many difficulties both in the church and in my work in the clinic. Looking back we see that God wanted to teach us so much. We are thankful for all the trials and that with new strength, God willing, we may enter the New Year. We continue to do Postal Bible School for children in the Terebovla Region. We are thankful that this year the authority gave us permission to have the camp for children. At the present time about 200 children participate in PBS. This year our church also started work with adults through Emmaus courses. We have about 30 students.” |

Julia Ploskonnaya, who now lives in Kiev wrote, “Roger, I have a BIG request! Could you please send me your PowerPoint presentations that you had for the study of Mark's Gospel in 2001. We would like to use your material as a base for the study at the youth meetings in our church. We have just started this ministry and there are just a few young people but I believe that it's only the beginning.” Since that first letter, Julia has asked for other material which will be translated into both Russian and Ukrainian and made available to all who want to use it. Olga, Julia’s sister who lives in the east of Ukraine, has also been in contact recently and tells of the growing work she is also doing among young people and she is also using our material. |

| It is a great encouragement for us to see those in who we have invested time over the past years at camps and through visits now being used effectively for the Lord. |
